Since 2012-06-06, webPDF version 4.0 has been available. This version includes a new file converter for additional file formats, supports PDF/A-2 and PDF/A-3 standards, and provides an improved web portal.

This year's event once again highlighted the growing importance of PDF/A.​

International projects and the conference itself show that this format is becoming the global standard for long-term archiving. As PDF/A adoption grows, the PDF/A Competence Center continues to gain members. At the conference, the association welcomed T-Systems as its 100th member.
