With the webPDF portal, converting HTML pages to PDF is straightforward. Using the URL conversion service, you can save HTML documents as PDFs with custom settings. You only need to enter the target URL.

If the website is in a protected area, open it using your username and password.

You can also define individual options such as page format (size), orientation (portrait or landscape), and page margins. After applying the settings and clicking Confirm, the PDF document is generated.

In addition to external websites, you can also convert HTML content from your own website. Another advantage of saving web pages as PDFs is that you do not need to print pages separately and can preserve the current status at a specific point in time. Tip: if you have multiple PDF pages, you can merge them with webPDF.

Advantages of saving a URL as PDF

  • PDF documents can be viewed by other users with a free reader, regardless of operating system
  • PDFs can be stored efficiently and file size can be reduced
  • PDF files are well suited for sending and remain true to the original, even if recipients use different systems or fonts
  • Documents can be secured, since authors can define usage and access options in advance (for example password protection and restricted permissions)
